In this role, you will help develop engineering plans, drawings, and construction documents for bridges and other transportation structures that support safe, reliable infrastructure in the communities we serve.\n\nThis position will be hybrid, potentially supporting across the company including California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, Idaho and Washington offices.\n\nYour Role on the Team\n\nDevelop CAD plans, details, and layouts for bridge, retaining wall and other structural transportation projects.\nPrepare and revise plan sheets based on engineering direction, design information, calculations, sketches, and redlines.\nUse MicroStation, Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer, and InRoads to create and maintain project drawings.\nCoordinate with engineers, designers, project managers, and other disciplines to support drawing reviews and incorporate feedback to maintain accuracy, quality, and consistency.\n\nWhat You Bring to the Team\n\nAssociate degree in engineering technology, civil engineering, drafting, or a related field.\n2+ years of CAD design or drafting experience preferred.\nProficiency in MicroStation or Civil 3D; experience with OpenRoads or InRoads is beneficial.\nPrevious experience supporting transportation, bridge, or structural engineering projects preferred.\nExperience preparing plans for bridges, retaining walls, culverts, or similar transportation structures preferred.\nAbility to interpret engineering markups and technical information and translate them into clear, accurate drawings.\nPositive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to learn and grow as a drafter.\n\nWhy Join Parametrix?\n\nEmployee Ownership & Great Benefits: As a 100% employee-owned company, you will share in and contribute to Parametrix's success.
