2nd Shift","description":"Mission\nMaintain equipment and processes in compliance with customer and Plastic Omnium\nrequirements\nPrimary Responsibilities\n Start up and shut down of blow molding machine.\n Maintain blow mold machine\n Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Material Handling System functions\n Troubleshoot process problems and provide documentation of actions performed\n Perform preventative maintenance\n Material handling PMs + responsibility\nAdditional Responsibilities\n Special projects as assigned including:\no Optimize processes\no Implement continuous improvement solutions to reduce scrap, improve efficiency\no Manage down time events\no Perform daily 5s tasks\nLockout Tagoout\n Full understanding of the LOTO concepts, and its application\n Method, devices, and instructions used to lockout/tagout machinery\n Choice of appropriate level of LOTO (when we have to apply complete LOTO, or partial LOTO\nor “door locked” only)\n Able to perform risk analysis before LOTO and work performed inside machines\n Ability to train and coach other technicians on LOTO and safe work practices\n Responsible to advise when standard work instructions are not covering a necessary specific\nactivity\n Responsible to check the correct application of LOTO, in line with procedures\n Seek guidance from EHS Specialist for any concerns regarding LOTO\nOther Requirements\n Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises\n Work requires walking, talking, seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping,\ncrouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing\n Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis\n Work requires working under high and low temperatures at certain times\nPersonal Background\n High school diploma or GED required\n 2 year Associate’s degree or applied trade apprenticeship preferred\nJob Technical skills\no Working knowledge of blow mold machines and processes\no Technical knowledge and skills consistent with basic maintenance functions\no Technical knowledge on: electricity, hydraulics, and pneumatics, with the ability to recognize and\nmanage hazardous energy sources machine by machine\nJob Soft skills\no Demonstrate communication skills in a team environment\no Self-motivated and able to work effectively alone or with very little supervision\no Capability of handling and managing multiple priorities\no Intermediate skill with personal computers and Microsoft Office programs\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $23.00 -
