This position has the possibility to be flexible to be 100% onsite; or remote with onsite travel when needed but this is up to the manager.\n\nThe position will need to be filled with a highly motivated individual who is able to work well under pressure. Possibly working on several applications at once in a highly agile structure while maintaining the laboratory’s high security mandates. A strong background in Java, specifically the Spring framework is required. In addition, high level knowledge with Angular and MySQL databases is desired. Must be comfortable and willing to carry out test driven development.\n\nResponsibilities:\nThe position will need to be filled with a highly motivated individual who is able to work well under pressure. Possibly working on several applications at once in a highly agile structure while maintaining the laboratory’s high security mandates. A strong background in Java, specifically the Spring framework is required. In addition, high level knowledge with Angular and MySQL databases is desired. Must be comfortable and willing to carry out test driven development.\n\nA seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of a specialized information technology (IT) field plus working knowledge of other related IT fields. Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, IT professional position. Provides resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Contributes to the development of organization's goals and objectives. Works under limited direction; receives general instructions on new assignments. Work is evaluated upon completion. May provide limited technical direction and/or coordinate activities of other personnel. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Determines approach to solutions, plans schedule and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives.\nEducation Requirements:\nBachelor's degree and a minimum five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nQualifications:\nCandidate must be a U.S. Citizen.\n\nSatisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a drug and breath alcohol test, along with a Motor Vehicle Record check.\n\nCandidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance.\nStrong background in JAVA and Spring framework.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPossession of an active DOE/DoD clearance within the past two (2) years is preferred.\nPrevious DOE/NNSA work experience.\nJAVA/Spring certifications.\nMySQL database experience.\nNewer versions of Angular experience.\nWork Schedule: Shift will be dependent upon customer site discretion.
