It is the most important thing we do. There is just something about fresh\n\nbaked bread that reminds people of home and comfort.\n\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nThe Lead Baker’s day begins early in the morning (exact times vary). Punctuality, dependable transportation and a can do attitude is a major factor in qualifying for this position.\n\nWhen not carrying out the bakers specific responsibilities, the baker must also provide excellent, friendly, upbeat customer service while preparing and serving a wide variety of food products and complete shift duties.\n\nOur full time Lead Baker position enjoys:\n\nCompetitive weekly pay\n\nTips paid weekly\n\n5-day Mon-Fri work week\n\nOpportunity for advancement\n\nPaid vacation within the first year (requires full time)\n\nHealth benefits (requires full time)\n\nFree shift meals\n\nOff duty meal discounts\n\nNo fryer's\n\nPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nBake the best bread possible using the procedures in the DiBella’s Bread Manual\n\nFollow the locations par list for the amount to bake on a daily basis\n\nKeep the bakery clean and organized and report any equipment deficiencies.\n\nUtilize all safety equipment provided to ensure crew and guest safety.\n\nPrepare and serve menu items according to portion guidelines.\n\nProperly set up deli products/items such as cheeses, meats, breads, condiments, sauces, napkins, and wrap paper.\n\nPrepare hot and cold sandwiches at the customer's request.\n\nDisplay excellent customer service at all times.\n\nEnsure cleanliness of grills, deli counter, counter sink, and more.\n\nDevelop a work pace sufficient to handle heavy rushes.\n\nFulfill all shift duties.\n\nMaintain customer viewed areas and food storage areas in sanitary, orderly condition meeting Health Department standards.\n\nComply with Health Department Regulations.\n\nWillingness to increase product knowledge over time.\n\nPerform any other duties as assigned by the managers.\n\nRequirements\nSome Position Specifics:\n\nRequired frequently: standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.\n\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as the baking manual.\n\nAbility to prioritize tasks, multi-task, balance friendliness with efficiency, and maintain focus.\n\nAbility to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.\n\nAt DiBella’s we work together to cultivate the best dinning experience for our guest.
