You will work directly with the customer, learning their workflows, and seeing the results of your work firsthand. Your day to day will consist of direct customer interaction with leadership, analysts, and other developers, implementation of solutions to support mission needs, and participation in a team of teams working towards similar solutions for separate customers.\n\nProvide expertise on a diverse set of existing highside services.\nExpand on existing workflow automation efforts.\nDiscover new opportunities to introduce agentic AI.\nDevelop and maintain web apps to provide analytic and workflow support.\nEmphasize customer communication and gather feedback on project status and results.\n\nPosition Required Skills:\n\nExtensive experience with full stack development with an emphasis on AI workflows.\nExperience with customer cross-domain solutions.\nExperience soliciting and applying feedback.\nExperience with AI assisted development.\nExperience programming in JavaScript and python.\nExperience working with corporate services in the highside environment.\nLeadership experience.\n\nNice to Haves\n\nDevelopment experience in a Linux environment.\nPrior experience in TAO.\nExperience with relational databases.\nExperience with pipeline data processing.\n\nSWE3 Qualifications:\n\nA minimum of twelve (12) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.\n\nSalary Range: $241k-$295k (Annually)\n\nThe range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.\n\nAkina is a Woman Owned, Service Disabled, Veteran Owned, Small Business, looking for talented and ambitious individuals to join our team.
