We are currently offering a $2,000 signing bonus to successful candidates.Reports ToShop ForemanSummary Of PositionHas 3+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Able to fabricate, install, assemble and repair components in the shop or in the field as required. Good communication skills. Work with electrical technicians, mechanics, field employees and supervisors on projects. Required to provide guidance and training to others within the department.RequirementsProficient knowledge of welding procedures steel & aluminumKnowledge of coil tubing and fracturing equipment is considered an asset for this positionSelf-motivated and have the initiative to fully perform the duties of this position independently along with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize issuesResponsibilitiesPerform welding repairs on frac and coil tubing equipment, including repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment to maximize safe and productive operationsRead and interpret schematics.Maintain welding consumables and supply stock levels and specify/re-order as necessary.Document repairs via our work order system.
