Job Summary And ResponsibilitiesAs our Student Rad Tech, you will gain hands-on experience, supporting diagnostic imaging to aid accurate patient diagnosis.Every day, you will assist in performing various imaging examinations (X-rays, CT, MRI), learning patient positioning, and contributing to positive patient experiences under supervision.To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn, attention to detail, excellent communication, and a foundational understanding of imaging principles, committed to mastering workflow and image quality.Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patientsThorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the orderHyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activityRoutinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.Job RequirementsRequiredHigh School Graduate general studies, upon hire andA minimum of twelve (12) months education in a JRCERT accredited school of radiology, upon hireBasic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within 30 days of hireWhere You'll WorkCHI St. Vincent, a regional health network serving Arkansas, is part of CommonSpirit Health.
