Explore Career Pathways for Pharmacy Professionals: ResponsibilitiesThe clinical p harmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe , and cost effective pharmaceutical care including drug dispensing, IV admixture program, and providing drug information. Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.QualificationsJob Requirements:B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy. Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy. Other applicable state requirements – i.e., sterile compounding, etc. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. ALS/ACLS certification ( ALS/ACLS required for attending Code Blue). Preferred Job Requirements:Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy. 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
