Job Description The Farmers Insurance - Kim Duty agency in Newport is currently seeking a detail oriented, self-motivated individual, with effective time management, and a positive attitude to join our team. As a Bilingual Customer Service & Sales Representative, you will provide exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects, as well as work to support agency growth through new business generation. Candidates must have customer service and sales experience in professional office or in a retail setting. Need to have the ability to work in a team environment, and a professional telephone presence. Must be able to pass state insurance license exam in time (We will help you with this) and meet continuing education requirements. The ability to speak/write in English and Spanish is required. Handle all incoming calls from clients and potential customers. Take and process premium payments from clients. Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements. Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources. Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls. Call prospective customers by operating VOIP telephones, automatic dialing systems, and other internet technologies. Schedule appointments for Agent to meet prospective customers. Requirements Bilingual: English and Spanish is required. Minimum one (1) year of customer service and/or sales experience in a professional office setting or retail environment is required. Experience using Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required. Familiar with multiple computer platforms (Windows, Google, etc.) is required Previous insurance or banking industry experience highly preferred.
