Senior Accountant

Gifford is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support accurate and timely financial operations in a dynamic environment. This role applies strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to prepare financial statements, manage complex general ledger accounts, and ensure the integrity of financial data.The Senior Accountant plays a key role in leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, performing reconciliations and analyses, and identifying and resolving discrepancies. This position partners closely with leadership to support audits, regulatory reporting, and cost reporting requirements, while helping maintain strong internal controls and compliance standards.The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and self-motivated, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
