This is a small-team, high-ownership role: the code you write ships to production quickly, and the systems you deploy run real businesses. Reports to the Founder / CTO.\r\nWHAT YOU WILL DOBuild and grow the platform:Design and ship features across our React and TypeScript front ends and serverless back ends.\r\nExtend our multi-tenant SaaS applications - ERP, analytics, and customer portals - with secure, row-level-isolated data access.\r\nBuild and harden API layers, background jobs, and integrations spanning payments, banking, document processing, and third-party data sources.\r\nContribute to our private AI stack: LLM gateway services, retrieval pipelines, model routing, and AI-assisted product features.\r\nWrite tests, review code, and keep continuous integration and deployments green.\r\nDeploy and support clients:Provision and ship Raspberry Pi-based edge compute devices to customer sites, including headless setup, secure mesh networking, and access-control configuration.\r\nOnboard new customers end to end: tenant provisioning, data migration, permissions setup, and go-live support.\r\nInstrument deployments with health checks, alerting, and remote-recovery paths so field devices stay reliable without a site visit.\r\nOperate like an owner:Practice ship-it discipline: merge, deploy, verify, and document in a single motion.\r\nTreat security as the default - least-privilege access, secrets hygiene, tenant isolation, and careful handling of regulated customer data.\r\nHelp define the engineering practices of a growing team.\r\nDemonstrate team leadership by orchestrating multi-agent AI systems, guiding AI teams through operational challenges similar to human teams - such as resolving merge conflicts, addressing blocking bugs, and navigating stakeholder decisions - to maintain continuous workflow momentum.\r\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORRequired:Lengthy professional software engineering experience shipping production applications, with a track record of recognizing systemic problems in multi-project development environments, identifying solutions, and driving agentic teams toward them.\r\nStrong TypeScript and React; comfortable with Tailwind CSS and modern component libraries.\r\nSubstantial PostgreSQL experience, including schema design and query performance. Familiarity with row-level security is a strong plus.\r\nExperience with serverless or edge platforms such as Cloudflare Workers or Netlify.\r\nFluency on the command line and with Git-based workflows: branching, pull requests, and CI/CD.\r\nWorking knowledge of Linux administration - you can SSH into a headless device, diagnose it, and script its setup.\r\nClear written communication.
