Opportunity OverviewOur organization is on the lookout for a dedicated and team-oriented Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our Endocrinology department. This full-time role supports a well-established practice with a robust patient following.Main ResponsibilitiesDeliver outpatient endocrine care, focusing on the management of chronic diseases.Oversee the treatment of Type I and Type II diabetes, along with other endocrine disorders.Conduct follow-up appointments, accommodate urgent visits, and operate within a collaborative care team model.Work closely with physicians, registered nurses, diabetes educators, and other clinical support personnel.Educate patients on nutrition, physical activity, medications, and long-term management of their conditions.Engage in administrative tasks, which will constitute about 10% of your workload.Position SpecificationsThis is a full-time position, requiring 36 hours of patient care each week.Work hours are Monday to Friday, during the day.This role is outpatient only, with no hospital duties involved.There is no on-call obligation.Expected patient load is 12 to 16 patients daily.Become part of a supportive, multidisciplinary care team.CompensationTwo-year salary guarantee.Annual salary range of $130,000 to $180,000.QualificationsMust be a Nurse Practitioner with relevant experience in endocrinology.Strong expertise in endocrinology is essential.Interest in managing chronic conditions over time is required.Certification as a Nurse Practitioner is necessary.Possession of a DEA Certificate and/or California Furnishing License is required.Must be eligible to work in the United States.California licensure or the ability to obtain it is necessary.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are a must.Benefits of Joining UsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage at no cost.Continuing Medical Education (CME) stipend.One medical assistant per provider.Malpractice insurance coverage.Disability insurance.Retirement options including 401K and profit-sharing plans.Generous annual leave policy.Coverage for licensure, DEA, and board exam fees.Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).About Our Medical GroupWe believe that our organization is more than just a workplace; it is a community where skilled healthcare professionals unite to positively impact the lives of those we serve.
