This is a great opportunity to work on mission-critical systems that provide clear value to end users and our federal government clients.\r\nSummary\r\nIn collaboration with the Project Manager, Development Lead, and incumbent team members, the Software Developer will help to plan, design, and prototype the implementation of secure user authentication mechanisms for web-based applications. The primary focus of this role is to deliver a robust MFA solution leveraging industry available and a customer preferred identity provider (IdP) solution.\r\nRequired Education, Experience, and Skills:\r\nBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with five (5) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment OR No Bachelor's Degree with seven (7) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment\r\nMulti-year proficiency in application development with one or more languages: JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js, React, Angular), Java / Spring Boot\r\nExperience with identity and access management and single sign-on, preferably with Microsoft Entra ID\r\nProject experience developing and integrating user authentication workflow with web-based applications, for example Spring security\r\nExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written) plus active listening skills to collaborate with a large cross functional team\r\nSoftware delivery using the Agile Scrum or Kanban methodology via Jira\r\nPreferred Education, Experience, and Skills:\r\nKnowledge and implementation of MFA solutions, specifically IdP's AWS Cognito, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and/or Login.gov\r\nKnowledge and management of AWS GovCloud services, preferable Cognito, Lambda, S3, EC2, and API Gateway\r\nExperience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, containerized environments, and version control using Jenkins or a similar tool\r\nUnderstanding of tokens, authentication and authorization and best secure coding practices\r\nFamiliarity with implementing phishing-resistant MFA protocols, including PIV/CAC integration or authentication standards\r\nExperience building and integrating RESTful APIs\r\nExperience implementing password policies and account recovery flows\r\nAWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect)\" Our estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $160,000, this presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
