The role manages one assigned shift and is expected to provide consistent shift coverage, support shift start-up and pass-down activities, and coordinate production execution during the assigned shift.\r\nBack-end of Week, Day Shift: Thus\r\nSat and every other Wednesday 5am\r\n5pm\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nSupport Fab performance metrics and daily operating discipline, including Safety, Throughput, Cycle Time, Yield, and on-time delivery.\r\nCoordinate closely with Fab Engineering, Equipment, Quality, and Facilities teams to resolve daily production issues.\r\nEscalate production risks and support alignment with Engineering, Business Units, Planning, and Production Control to meet customer and revenue commitments.\r\nMonitor WIP movement and support on-time delivery execution against committed schedules.\r\nSupport staffing, onboarding, training coordination, employee engagement, and consistent application of company policies in partnership with the responsible leader.\r\nReinforce a positive, accountable, and performance-focused shift culture.\r\nSupport development of manufacturing technician bench strength through execution of approved training plans.\r\nTrack training plan progress and assist with comprehensive onboarding of new employees.\r\nIdentify and support continuous improvement opportunities in operational procedures, yield, and business systems.\r\nParticipate in productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives across assigned shifts.\r\nExecute and sustain 5S and Lean practices within assigned areas.\r\nSupport quality improvement actions in partnership with peers and cross-functional teams.\r\nHelp implement standard work, protocols, and operating practices across shifts.\r\nInterface with internal stakeholders and escalate customer-related needs through the responsible leader as required.\r\nKey Competencies & Skills Required:\r\nProficient people management and team coordination skills.\r\nClear verbal and written communication skills.\r\nWorking knowledge of semiconductor processing and basic device physics.\r\nBasic project management and task follow-up skills.\r\nResults-oriented mindset with ability to support operational goals.\r\nSolid analytical and problem-solving skills.\r\nFamiliarity with Lean and 5S practices.\r\nBasic understanding of manufacturing statistical methods such as SPC and DOE.\r\nProficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.\r\nProficient in structured problem solving methods.\r\nWorking knowledge of operational systems and production reporting tools.\r\nFamiliarity with ISO, safety, and quality compliance requirements.\r\nCollaborative team-building and practical problem-solving skills.\r\nRequired Qualifications and Experience\r\nMinimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 2 years in a front-line lead, supervisor, or shift coordination role.\r\nAbility to work off shift hours as business needs require.\r\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred; additional hands-on manufacturing leadership experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\r\nWithout a college degree, preferred qualification is 10+ years of relevant manufacturing experience with demonstrated front-line leadership, team coordination, and shift execution responsibility.\r\nEEO\r\nMACOM is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse workforce.
