This role serves as a critical bridge between development and operations by implementing DevOps best practices, infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines that support highly available, production‑grade fintech systems. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, systems‑minded, and comfortable working across internal teams and managed service partners to ensure cloud platforms align with Candescent’s business goals.Key Responsibilities And DeliverablesCloud Platform Operations & ReliabilityOperate and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security of production environmentsPerform hands‑on troubleshooting and root cause analysis for cloud and application‑level issuesContinuously optimize cloud environments for performance, resilience, and cost efficiencyDevOps, Automation & ToolingImplement and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) to enable consistent, repeatable, and secure cloud deploymentsBuild, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines that accelerate development while maintaining quality and controlDevelop internal tools and automation to reduce manual effort and improve operational reliabilitySecurity, Governance & Cost ManagementEnsure cloud environments adhere to security best practices and internal policiesPartner with security and engineering teams to support secure deployments and access controlsMonitor and optimize cloud spend, providing visibility and recommendations to balance cost and performanceCross‑Functional & Managed Services CollaborationBridge development and operations teams to support smooth application delivery and production readinessDirect and collaborate with managed services providers to ensure operational execution aligns with Candescent business objectivesContribute to platform standards, documentation, and operational runbooksQualifications And ExperienceBachelor's degree in computer science or relevantDemonstrated experience operating and automating cloud platforms in production environmentsStrong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure‑as‑code conceptsHands‑on experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and application performance issuesAbility to translate operational needs into scalable, automated solutionsStrong collaboration and communication skills across engineering, operations, and external partnersPreferred DistinctionsExperience supporting fintech, SaaS, or highly regulated environmentsExposure to cloud cost optimization and financial governance practicesExperience working with or leading managed services teamsPassion for automation, reliability engineering, and continuous improvementStatement to Third Party AgenciesTo ALL recruitment agencies: Candescent only accepts resumes from agencies on the preferred supplier list.
