Our Bartenders care deeply about our culture and will provide a genuine sense of hospitality. They will exceed guests’ expectations by providing a friendly, authentic, and enthusiastic experience with perfect service.\n\nDuties and responsibilities\nThe primary job duties and responsibilities of being a Bartender include but are not limited to the following:\n\nMust learn and be knowledgeable of the food and beverage menus\nPrepare bar for service including but not limited to stocking, polishing glassware, surface cleaning\nProvide full service for all guests including but not limited to taking orders, timing courses, serving, and clearing\nInteract socially with guests in a polite and friendly manner\nProper wine service meeting industry standards\nConfidently and professionally sell food and beverage\nUse a Point of Sale (POS) computer system\nMust monitor quality control and guest satisfaction\nFollow recipes and adhere to standards to maintain consistency\nMinimal food preparation to include the preparation of garnishes, lemonade, iced tea, and cocktails\nServe alcohol responsibly and in adherence with all applicable laws and regulations\nFollow side work procedures, keeping the bar properly cleaned and organized from open to close\nPay close attention to detail\nPerforms up to the company standards, expectations and policies\nMust always be pressed and tailored, complying to the dress code policy\nContribute to team effort by accomplishing tasks effectively and quickly\nPerform other duties as assigned\n\nQualifications\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\nQualifications\nTiny Boxwoods Productions require the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the position of Bartender.\n\nQualifications include:\nTABC Certified\nTexas Food Handlers’ certificate\nOutstanding customer service skills\nAbility to memorize recipes and beverage lists\nFlexible availability in scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays\nCapacity to multitask\nAbility to work as part of a team\nMust be passionate about food, wine, and spirits (applicable locations)\nSome wine knowledge preferred\n\nWorking conditions\nThe incumbent will be working in a restaurant setting behind a bar and may be working near co-workers. Hazards may include, but are not limited to cuts, minor burns, slipping and tripping.\n\nPhysical requirements\nThe incumbent is required to walk and stand for the entirety of shift, minimal lifting is required, up to 25 lbs. Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, and wipe. Frequent hand washing.
