Network Technicians support the full network lifecycle, including installations, upgrades, maintenance activities, incident resolution, disaster recovery, security, and documentation. You will partner with the Network Operations Center (NOC), engineering teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing network services. Position levels range from Network Technician I through Network Technician III, reflecting increasing levels of technical expertise, responsibility and operational impact.\n\nThis position can be located within the Midco footprint of KS, MN, ND, SD, or WI. A DUI conviction within the past 5 years will result in disqualification from employment in this position.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nAssociate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.\nIndustry certification such as CCNA, Network+, JNCIA, or equivalent.\nKnowledge of TCP/IP, OSI Model, SNMP, IPv4/IPv6, routing, and switching technologies.\nFamiliarity with DOCSIS, PON, optical transport, or carrier network architecture.\nProficiency with Cisco, Infinera, or similar networking platforms.\nUnderstanding of network security principles, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.\nExposure to network monitoring, ticketing, and configuration management tools.\nBackground in a telecommunications, internet service provider, network operations, or technology support environment.\n\nNote: Team Members will be assigned a level based on the required experience and training.
