Long-Term Care Underwriter

A company is looking for a Long-Term Care Senior Underwriter specializing in Medical Professional Liability. Key Responsibilities Underwrite new and renewal submissions, focusing on manual and experience-rated accounts while managing existing business Expand new business opportunities through target accounts and brokers, conducting meetings to discuss terms and conditions Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, document files, and assist in financial performance monitoring and reporting Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, preferably in insurance, risk management, or business administration Minimum seven years of medical professional liability underwriting experience, with at least four years in specialty underwriting CPCU, AIC, or ARM designations highly desired Understanding of insurance and medical terminology, as well as underwriting principles Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
