Collaborate with a supportive team of inspectors, engineers & city partners Join a company with a trusted legacy of 60+ years serving public agencies.\n\nPublic Agency Resources (PARS), a subsidiary of Willdan Group Inc., has an opening for a Permit Technician in the Venice, CA area.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nProvide customer support at the counter and over the phone.\nReview permit applications for completeness and accuracy.\nCalculate and collect permit fees.\nProcess and issue building permits.\nEnsure all conditions of approvals are met prior to issuance.\nAssist the public with permit applications.\nVerify all necessary project approvals are obtained prior to permit issuance.\nNotify applicants when construction documents and/or permits are ready for pick-up or issuance.\nCoordinate and route documents for plan review and approval.\nHelp resolve resident inquiries and complaints.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n\nMust have ICC Certification and municipal experience (ICC Certification Counter Technician).\n3+ years as a Permit Technician required.\nKnowledge of various permitting software is a plus.\nAbility to lift/move up to 10lbs and occasionally lift/move up to 25lbs.\n\nEEO Non-Discrimination and ADA Reasonable Accommodation Statement\nWilldan is an equal opportunity employer.
