You will work in a laboratory setting where you will help issue, set up, clean up, and track/maintain the testing assets. This will involve gaining in-depth knowledge of the robotics systems, how to upgrade and downgrade software, and understand the lab configurations needed for testing. In your daily work you will:\r\nMaintaining, calibrating, cleaning and testing of the lab equipment and robotics assets\r\nProvide technical support for the lab assets\r\nManage the asset tracking system to ensure all asset locations, state, and availability are current\r\nUpgrade and downgrade software on the robotic devices to support daily testing activities\r\nPull assets from inventory and issue them to testing engineers\r\nReturn assets to inventory from the field and return assets to their baseline state\r\nManage asset maintenance plans for multiple labs through asset management software\r\nWork with management to ensure V&V labs are being efficiently utilized\r\nMay also be trained to conduct simple laboratory procedures in order to assist the engineers (such as hardware calibration.)\r\nPreferred qualifications:\r\nPrior work experience with multiple software systems.\r\nWork experience in a high through-put lab environment\r\nPrior operation and maintenance of robotics systems and prior work experience with multiple software systems\r\nQualifications:\r\nEducation: AS /B.S. in scientific discipline or equivalent\r\nExperience / Specific Skills: 1-4 years in a supporting scientific research role\r\nGeneral computer skills including use and understanding of M.S.
