This role is responsible for coordinating student enrollment, monitoring apprentice progress, maintaining training records, supporting compliance requirements, and collaborating with field leadership to ensure apprentices receive the guidance and support needed to succeed.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about workforce development, education, skilled trades, and helping individuals build successful careers in the electrical industry.\n\nEssential Job Responsibilities\n\nProgram Administration\n\nCoordinate registration and enrollment for electrical apprentices in IEC programs.\nServe as the primary liaison between apprentices, instructors, IEC representatives, supervisors, and company leadership.\nTrack apprentice attendance, grades, progression, and completion requirements.\nMaintain accurate and organized apprenticeship records and documentation.\nMonitor apprentices' advancement through each year of training.\n\nApprentice Support & Engagement\n\nConduct regular outreach and follow-up with apprentices.\nAssist apprentices in understanding classroom and on-the-job learning requirements.\nSupport apprentice retention and successful program completion.\nCoordinate apprentice recognition and milestone achievement programs.\n\nCompliance & Reporting\n\nTrack classroom training hours and apprenticeship documentation.\nEnsure records meet company, state, and regulatory requirements.\nPrepare reports and workforce development metrics for leadership.\nSupport audits and documentation requests as needed.\n\nCollaboration with Operations\n\nWork closely with project managers, foremen, superintendents, and supervisors to support apprentice development.\nCoordinate apprentice placement and progression within operational teams.\nAssist recruiting and workforce planning efforts related to electrical apprenticeships.\nSupport mentorship initiatives that strengthen apprentice success in the field.\n\nContinuous Improvement\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve apprentice engagement and program effectiveness.\nAssist in developing workforce development strategies and training initiatives.\nSupport implementation of best practices for apprenticeship administration and talent development.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nRequired:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in workforce development, training coordination, apprenticeship administration, education, human resources, or construction operations.\nStrong organizational and administrative skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\n\nPreferred: (2-4 bullets max)\n\nPassion for developing people and supporting career growth.\nStrong attention to detail.\nExcellent customer service and relationship-building skills.\nSelf-motivated and solutions-oriented.\nAbility to work effectively with both field and office personnel.\nComfortable interacting with apprentices, craft professionals, instructors, and executive leadership.\n\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\n\nThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
