This job may include any aspect of equipment support, including hardware, software, PC's, and wireless networking. The Technician will provide technical support to all bindery and mailing equipment and determine the most time-effective repair/resolution to minimize downtime.\n\nProvide service and maintenance on Inserting, cameras, ink jetting equipment and folders in the facility\n\nPrioritize issues to resolve urgent incidents in a timely manner\n\nBe available to provide support to the facility outside of regular working hours if necessary\n\nTroubleshoot complex issues with equipment\n\nWork collaboratively with plant and management teams to find solutions to problems\n\nEncourage use of new techniques and focus on fact-based problem solving\n\nRequirements\nQualifications:\n\nHigh School Diploma/GED, Associates degree preferred\n\nMechanical and technical training a plus\n\n2+ years’ experience as a mechanic and/or servicing industrial ink jetting/mailing equipment\n\nGeneral knowledge of mailing and print production\n\nAbility to lift 30lbs multiple times per day\n\nAbility to use hand tools and power tools to repair and maintain equipment\n\nAbility to climb ladders if necessary to repair and maintain equipment\n\nStrong attention to detail, problem solving abilities and strategic thinking\n\nKnowledge of Pitney Bowes, Bell and Howell, and/or inserting equipment\n\nBilingual in Spanish a plus\n\nWork Environment/Physical Demands:\n\nAbility to stand for 8 to 12 hours & walk 3 hours\n\nLift up to 50lbs\n\nIntermittent bending up to 3 hours.
