We are assembling a high‑agency team committed to moving fast, solving hard problems, and defending what matters most.\n\nRole Overview\nAs an electrical test engineer, you’ll own the factory test automation specification and design for multiple electronic assemblies, lead the design effort for PCBA bed of nails test fixtures, test racks, cable test infrastructure, and test automation software, and play a critical role in developing robust manufacturing test processes and continuously improving product reliability in a mission‑critical environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOwner of flight test and manufacturing ground support equipment.\n\nDevelop and maintain manufacturing test stations for PCBA and Avionic subassemblies.\n\nTroubleshoot test station failures and debug non‑conformances through test stages and drive root cause analysis.\n\nWork with software engineers to develop test software and oversee test software deployment and provisioning.\n\nPrepare detailed test reports and support formal verification of the system.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nAbility to read and interpret PCBA schematics and use them to understand functionality and troubleshoot hardware.\n\nBachelor’s degree in a STEM field or similar discipline.\n\nExperience developing and documenting operating procedures and guides.\n\nExperience troubleshooting hardware/software issues and identifying root causes.\n\nExperience with measurement hardware and test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, analog and digital I/O, data acquisition systems, switch matrices, relay banks, and signal conditioning.\n\nExperience programming functional tests of hardware.\n\nExperience managing multiple Linux systems in a test environment.\n\nExperience with DVCS such as git.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nProficient in scripting languages such as python and experience managing a test environment code base.\n\nExperience supporting a high volume and high reliability production line.\n\nExperience managing teams of test technicians operating test equipment.\n\nITAR Requirements\nTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. §1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. §1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
