The Radar Systems Engineer will:\n\nResponsibilities\n\nApply advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts to develop revolutionary radar solutions.\n\nPerform functional analysis, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate customer requirements into radar system software specifications.\n\nDevelop models and detailed simulations to assess system performance.\n\nRepresent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, government lab partners, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters.\n\nAutomate repeatable tasks through the use of scripting languages.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or related STEM degree with minimum 2 years of related experience.\n\nExperience with C++ or equivalent object‑oriented computing language, Matlab, and scripting languages.\n\nDemonstrated experience in two or more of the following areas: systems engineering, software and system analysis, requirements development, verification and validation, trade studies, modeling and simulation, or integration and test.\n\nDoD security clearance at the SECRET level.\n\nStrong mathematics background in linear algebra, statistical analysis and signal processing.\n\nRadar systems development experience including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling and simulation.\n\nThis position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.\n\nWork Schedule and Location\nOnsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
