We are looking for someone that will support our mission within budget.\n\nThis position will provide procurement and administrative support to the Mission Support Team by managing end-to-end purchasing activities (including vendor coordination, contract vehicle utilization, approvals, and purchase documentation), assisting with Salesforce management and process development, and coordinating new employee onboarding to ensure required accounts, tools, equipment, and compliance items are in place. This position will be based in Adelphi, MD, with occasional remote work.\n\nWhat will you be doing?\n\nThis position will be a key member of the Mission Support Team. Duties include:\nOversee end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, quote comparisons, and acquisition planning to support program needs.\nNegotiate and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery, cost control, and quality outcomes.\nIdentify, source, and manage the use of approved contract vehicles; ensure purchases comply with applicable procurement rules and internal processes.\nCoordinate required approvals and execute purchasing actions, including portal entries, purchase documentation, required forms, and routing packages for signatures.\nSupport Salesforce management and process development activities, including coordination of tasks, tracking action items, and maintaining documentation to enable program execution.\nCoordinate onboarding logistics for new Mission Support Team (MST) personnel to enable day-one productivity.\nFacilitate account setup and access requests for required tools and systems (e.g., email, JIRA, CSM, Salesforce), including coordination with internal stakeholders as needed.\nCoordinate issuance of laptops/equipment and ensure completion of required initial compliance items (e.g., cyber awareness training), in alignment with program onboarding requirements.\nPrepare and route visitor access requests and associated security documentation to support on-site visits and workspace access.\nCoordinate with designated security/administrative points of contact to ensure required documentation is submitted accurately and on time.\nProvide administrative travel support, including initiating travel arrangements, supporting travel orders, and preparing travel vouchers in accordance with program procedures and PWS requirements.\n\nWhat skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?\n\nThis position will require the following:\n\nBachelor's Degree required (related field preferred), with 4 yrs experience or 8 yrs of additional relevant experience\nDoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance Required\nStrong multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize various tasks and assignments in a dense environment to meet defined and/or undefined deliverables.\nProficiency in delivering concise briefs and reports to large groups and senior leaders, with strong communication skills to effectively convey complex cybersecurity concepts.\nPossess expertise in cloud technology, with a strong understanding of cloud platforms, services, and best practices relevant to cybersecurity.\nProficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, to efficiently manage and prioritize high volumes of email communication, ensuring timely responses and effective correspondence management.\nFamiliarity with Army and DoD policies influencing the cybersecurity community, ensuring compliance and alignment with relevant regulations and directives.\nUtilize project management principles and methodologies (PMI) to effectively plan, execute, and complete tasks, ensuring efficient project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction\nPreferred experience in using Tableau, JIRA, Confluence, and Salesforce.\nMust be able to speak, read, and write fluent English\nMust be a US Citizen.\n\nRead about our benefits here: Our Benefits - UTRS | Thinking Forward\n\nUTRS is an Equal Opportunity employer.
