American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Radiology TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: 06/15/2026Duration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, eveningsEmployment Type: TravelAssignment OverviewShift: Evenings, 5x8hrsHours: 40 hrs/wkStart Date: Jun 15, 2026Length: 13 weeksOpenings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist at a Level III Trauma Center in Milwaukee, WI, with a minimum of 2 years of acute or surgical experience and strong procedural skills.DetailsWork in a Radiology department at a 636-bed, Magnet-designated, Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center in Milwaukee, WIDepartment includes 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoro rooms, 1 video swallow room, 2 clinic diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, and 1 dental roomPatient population includes inpatient, outpatient, ED, and procedural cases across all age ranges, with some pediatric patientsAverage caseload of 15–20 patients per tech per dayProcedures include fluoroscopy (ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, urology cases) and OR cases (ortho, general, spine)Equipment includes GE, Fuji, and Del Medical X-ray systems, GE 9900 and Elite C-arms, Medtronic O-arms, and McKesson PACSEpic EMR — experience preferred8-hour evening shifts with start times between 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM, Monday–FridayEvery other weekend rotation, with one weekday off the week before and one weekday off the week after each worked weekendOne on-call shift per week (shifts: 6:30 AM–2:00 PM, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, or 10:30 PM–6:30 AM)One holiday required per contractNo floating requirementsRequirementsMinimum of 2 years of acute or surgical Radiology experience required, with most recent experience within the last yearProficiency in surgical/procedural imaging, general radiology, and portable X-rays requiredExperience with fluoroscopy procedures (ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic, urology) requiredOR imaging experience including ortho, general, and spine cases required; comfort with O-arm preferredMid-to-high acuity acute care hospital experience requiredActive ARRT certification requiredActive WI Radiology license required if applicableCurrent BLS requiredMust be able to manage a high-volume, fast-paced environment with high-acuity patientsMinimum of 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the last year required for considerationCandidate DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for considerationAdditional InformationRadiologist on site 24/7, with lead tech support on day shiftDepartment staffed with 14 techs on days, 7 on evenings, and 3 on nightsOrientation includes a facility-wide new employee orientation (NEO) followed by 7 days of department-specific trainingSurgery scrubs are provided on-siteFree parking availableFast-paced unit with high patient acuityFirst-time travelers may be considered depending on demonstrated surgical and procedural skill levelFormer employees of Advocate Health or any of its subsidiaries must be separated for at least 12 months before being eligibleLocal candidates are acceptedAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-700889.
