In this role, you will help administer, operate, and maintain a large enterprise network while performing infrastructure upgrades and improving both wired and wireless network capabilities.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on network professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, taking ownership of critical projects, and supporting reliable network operations across multiple locations.\n\nAdminister, operate, and maintain the enterprise network.\nPerform infrastructure upgrades and improve wired and wireless networks.\nOptimize system operations and resource utilization.\nPerform system capacity analysis and planning.\nPlan and perform network engineering research, design, development, and other assignments in conformance with network design, engineering, and customer specifications.\nTrack and resolve network incidents through the established ticket queue.\nFollow required maintenance windows and change-control procedures.\nTravel up to 25% to support remote sites throughout the United States.\nWork 100% onsite in Anchorage, Alaska.\nRequirements:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field and eight years of IT experience, or 12 years of IT experience without a degree.\nAt least five years of experience supporting both wired and wireless Cisco networks in a large enterprise campus environment with multilayer routing protocols.\nStrong Layer 3 networking experience, including:\nOSPF\nBGP, including multihoming, traffic load balancing and engineering, and automatic failover\nEIGRP\nRIP\nHSRP\nWCCP\nMulticast\nStrong network troubleshooting skills across:\nLayer 1: Copper cabling issues and fiber signal strength\nLayer 2: Spanning Tree Protocol, VLAN tagging, and MAC address tracing\nLayer 3: Routing issues, EGP and IGP redistribution, BGP attribute analysis, and prefix-length issues\nLayers 4–7: Troubleshooting connectivity, transport, and application-layer issues\nNetwork architecture and design experience, including:\nDesigning networks scalable to 10 Gbps or more\nCreating routing policies for automatic failover\nDeveloping network designs and diagrams using Microsoft Visio\nExperience tracking and resolving incidents through a ticketing system.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to follow maintenance windows and change-control procedures.\nStrong commitment to industry best practices and a dependable work ethic.\nSelf-motivated, with the ability to take ownership of projects.\nAbility to manage multiple networks and customer requirements simultaneously.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nFlow analysis experience.\nMPLS experience.\nExperience supporting a large organization with more than 35,000 customers.\nExperience collaborating with peer teams and client stakeholders.\nExperience working in both remote and onsite environments.\nCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.\nExperience using a help desk or IT service management system; ServiceNow experience is a plus.\nExperience with Microsoft Project and Visio.\n\nWork Location and Schedule\n\nPrimary Location: FAA Alaskan Regional Office, 222 West 7th Avenue, #14, Anchorage, AK 99513\n\nSchedule: 100% onsite, with up to 25% travel to support remote sites within the United States\n\nClearance: FAA Personnel Suitability clearance required (AMS 3.14-2)\n\nCompensation: $95K to $108K\n\nCompany Profile:\n\nFounded in 1999 and headquartered in Reston, Virginia, Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is a leading small business in technology, engineering, and management consulting.
