Join us at Bemis Manufacturing Company, where your passion meets purpose.PositionSummary:The Directorof Enterprise Applications provides strategic leadership for BemisManufacturing's enterprise application portfolio with an immediate focus on theOracle Fusion ERP implementation and long-term ownership of enterprise platforms,including manufacturing application systems, data and analytics, andapplication-layer integration across the business. This role partners withbusiness leaders to ensure applications deliver measurable business value andsupports Bemis's modernization journey.The incumbentwill live the corporate values of treating people with dignity and respect,practicing leadership, driving continuous improvement, acting with a sense ofurgency, promoting innovation, fighting for consensus, and managing throughteams.Supervisor Responsibilities:Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the department.Mentor and guide direct reports.Oversee the daily workflow of the direct reports.Specific Responsibilities:ERPImplementation and Platform Ownership*Serve as the IT owner for the Oracle Fusion ERP implementation by partnering with executive sponsors, implementation partner, and global process owners across all functional workstreams.*Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.*Own the end-to-end data migration strategy, including data cleansing, validation, cutover planning, and execution.*After go-live, own the Oracle Fusion environment, including configuration management, release planning, quarterly updates, enhancement prioritization, and performance optimization.*Establish and own the ongoing support model and processes, including enhancements and quarterly updates.EnterpriseApplication Portfolio*Own and expand the enterprise application portfolio as needs evolve.*Own the application layer for manufacturing systems, including manufacturing execution systems (MES), data collection, and shop floor applications. Partner with the infrastructure team on the underlying IT/OT network and hardware environment.*Manage vendor relationships, contracts, licensing, and renewals.*Oversee decommissioning of legacy systems and ownership of full application landscape.*Evaluate and rationalize the portfolio to reduce complexity, eliminate redundancy, and lower total cost of ownership.*Define and enforce application standards, data governance, and integration architecture.*Lead the development and execution of Bemis's enterprise data and analytics strategy, including reporting platforms, dashboards, and data pipelines that support operational and strategic decision-making.BusinessPartnership*Serve as the primary IT contact for business leaders on application-related matters.*Translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.*Lead quarterly business reviews to assess performance, priorities, and roadmap alignment.*Drive adoption and change readiness to ensure value realization.StrategicContribution*Contribute to IT strategy and multi-year technology road map.*Identify opportunities for automation, analytics, and technology modernization*Partner with the VP of IT to sequence and plan future platform investments.Skills & Qualifications:*Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.*10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise application management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing application platforms and teams.*Direct experience leading or co-leading at least one full-lifecycle ERP implementation.*Deep functional knowledge of manufacturing business processes.*Demonstrated ability to partner with VP and director level stakeholders.*Experience with vendor/contract management and cloud integration architectures.*Strong communication and executive presentation skills.*Collaborative leadership style with strong problem-solving skills.Preferred:*Oracle Fusion ERP experience orcomparable enterprise platform experience (For example: SAP S/4HANA, MicrosoftDynamics 365, Infor, JD Edwards, etc.) considered.*Experience managing an enterprise applicationportfolio beyond ERP, including manufacturing systems (MES, data collection,quality management) and enterprise data and analytics platforms.*Experience managing an enterprise application portfolio that extends beyondERP, including manufacturing-specific platforms.*Background in a mid-size manufacturing environment (1,000 to 5,000 employees),particularly in a company transitioning from legacy systems to modern cloudplatforms.*Experience managing internal and external blended teams.*Familiarity with M365/SharePoint, cybersecurity frameworks, Azure cloudservices.*Experience with organizational change management.WorkEnvironment & Physical Demands:*Indoor office setting, controlled temperature.*40+ hours per week.*Minimal lifting, up to 20lbs. Minimal bending and reaching.*May be required to enter manufacturing operations where safety toe shoes, protective eye wear, and hearing protection is required.
