Monday through Friday.\n\nMachine Operators at Flexco can expect a starting hourly compensation of between $20.00 and $25.00, or more, depending on skills, education and experience.\n\nAll internal Flexco employees must be in good standing and inform their current manager before applying.\n\nPin Machine Operator\nLocation: Grand Rapids\nDepartment: Pin\nPurpose: Operating all machines and functions within the Pin Department\nWhat you will need:\n• High School Degree or equivalent\n• Multitasking skills\n• Experience using hand and small power tools\n• 0-2 years of experience in machine shop or assembly\n• The ability to:\n• Lift 45 lbs. floor to waist occasionally\n• Stand all day.\n• Reach less than 18 inches from midline both directions\n• Technical Assistance is readily available for assigned work\nWhat you will be doing:\n• Operating and maintaining all machines and equipment in the pin department\n• Processing all incoming pin orders accurately and on a timely basis\n• May require operation of multiple machines at the same time\n• Inspecting parts and maintain quality control standards.\n• Writing out tags for all orders.\n• Planning and execute small projects\n• Ensuring accuracy and schedule of independent work\n• Participating in Continuous Improvement and Suggestion System as required.\nFlexco offers generous packages including:\n• Medical, dental and vision insurance on day one of employment\n• 401k with up to 8% company match\n• 10 vacation days and 10 personal days (additional time added at 5 years and 20 years of employment with Flexco)\n• 12 paid holidays per year\n• Competitive compensation\n• Tuition reimbursement/educational assistance\n\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
