Position Title: Maintenance Team Lead - 3rd Shift
Department: Maintenance
Hours: 10:00 pm – shift end (hours may vary)
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday + Fridays
Location: Holland, Michigan

Essential Responsibilities:
Direct the work of the Maintenance Mechanics in their assigned areas of responsibility.
Follow all applicable safety policies and procedures.
Coordinate resources with the fellow 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift crew leaders to ensure the entire plant runs smoothly and efficiently.
Along with 1st shift Mechanics, ensures an on time start up of production lines.
Ensure corrective and preventative maintenance work order completion in a timely and accurate manner including the delegation of preventative work orders as determined necessary.
Work with production/support department Team Leaders to address ongoing concerns.
Maintain equipment in a safe manner and follow all Request Foods safety procedures.
Assist in maintaining cost control by efficient use of spare parts.
Ability to correct timecards and email daily recaps of workday.
Flexibility to assist at other Request facilities
Coordinate and assist contractors with projects pertaining to maintenance.
Key Qualifications:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, email, and follow up with daily tasks as assigned.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Ability to safely work at a self-motivated pace and with little supervision.
Have sound troubleshooting skillset
Must be able to describe and display the following:
Working knowledge of Electrical, (20ma -480V)
Strong mechanical aptitude
Strong understanding of Pneumatics and Hydraulics
Ability to read electrical prints
Ability to read Mechanical drawings, and schematics
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or relevant training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
Extensive walking and standing
Lifting up to 50lbs
Bending, twisting, and stooping
Pushing/pulling various weights
Working from scissors lift
Work Environment:
Cold and dry conditions
May include entry to freezer at -5 degrees
Wet conditions (may vary)
