For more information, visit our website at www.lsbindustries.com.\nPosition Summary: EDC Ag Products, a subsidiary of LSB Industries, is looking to hire a Loader Tech to join our team. This position will be located in our Lamar, MO location.\nSpecific Responsibilities:\nMatches loading schedule to bill of lading.\nWeighs railcar/truck in prior to product transfer.\nFills out loading record.\nEnsures that truck/railcar is positioned and secured at proper loading rack.\nVisually inspects the railcar or truck to be involved in the upcoming transfer to ensure that it is mechanically sound and there is no defective equipment before loading or unloading.\nWear all protective clothing and equipment, including respirator and fresh air equipment that may be required to transfer the product in a manner that ensures maximum personal safety.\nConnects loading hoses.\nLoads railcar/truck according to loading instructions using gauges, loading meters, or weight.\nChecks weight of railcar/truck after loading to ensure that gross weight does not exceed regulations.\nCommunicates with facility supervisor on any problems as they occur.\nDisconnects loading arm/hose, inspect for any leaks and complete required paperwork prior to releasing the railcar/truck.\nOperates trac-mobile to move and position railcars for loading and shipment.\nRegularly cleans and maintains work areas.\nOperates fork-lift and other equipment as required if qualified.\nCompletes regular safety checks on machinery and equipment.\nComplete all required LMS training modules.\nCollects and submits all daily reports and paperwork and turns it in to the Board Operator.\nCompletes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.\nWork Environment & Physical Demands:\nMust be tolerant and non-allergic to exposure of ammonia, chemical and acid fumes.\nWhile performing job duties, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts, and in outside weather conditions and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.\nThe employee will work in close proximity to chemical processes with toxic or caustic chemicals, airborne particles, fumes, extreme heat, extreme cold, vibrations and electrical hazards.\nMust be able to lift and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.\nMust be able to work a full 12-hour shift, often standing, walking, and climbing during the entire 12 hours.\nAbility to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including FR uniform, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, fall protection harnesses, chemical exposure suits are required in designated areas as well as a full-face respirator as necessary in emergencies.\nSpecial Attention:\nThis position is safety and security sensitive in nature.\nThis position deals with hazardous materials and/or industrial processes that can pose a risk to employees and the general public.
