This role is responsible for leading the migration of enterprise applications to the Azure cloud, designing scalable cloud-native solutions, and optimizing performance through modern DevOps and microservices practices. The ideal candidate will contribute hands-on development expertise while driving cloud architecture, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.Job DutiesArchitect, develop, and implement scalable cloud-native applications within the Azure ecosystemLead migration efforts from on-premises applications to cloud-based environmentsDesign and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and single page applications utilizing microfrontend architectureDevelop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Infrastructure as Code solutions such as TerraformMonitor and improve cloud application performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiencyImplement observability and monitoring solutions using tools such as DataDogConduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to development team membersCollaborate with product owners, infrastructure teams, and operations teams to deliver integrated cloud solutionsDevelop technical documentation, system diagrams, and workflow processes to support solution architectureEnsure security, compliance, IAM policies, and encryption standards are incorporated into all cloud solutionsSkills Required:8+ years of experience with Java development, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Angular, and scalable microservices architecture5+ years of cloud engineering experience designing and managing cloud-native applications at scaleExperience building Single Page Applications (SPA) utilizing microfrontend architecture3+ years of experience with SQL, Hibernate, and Web Services (REST and/or SOAP)Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and serverless architecturesExpertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologiesExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar toolsExperience utilizing observability and monitoring platforms such as DataDogStrong experience designing and deploying solutions within Microsoft Azure
