Our vision is to help customers achieve their most challenging goals by unifying innovation, integrity, and exemplary services and products.\n\nSilotech is recruiting for a Junior Wireless Engineer to support timely on site corporate and commercial reach back for all technical sustainment operational assistance required to support AT&T deployed solutions.\n\nThis position is for consideration of a proposal contract.\nLocation\nDenver, Colorado\n\nLocations span across Nebraska, Colorado, Hawaii, Alaska, Guam Japan and South Korea\nClearance\nSECRET\nEssential Roles and Responsibilities:\nAnalyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate wireless local network (WLAN) infrastructures, systems and subsystems.\nFunction as a technical specialist for WLAN activities, such as, heatmap generation and analysis, system scaling and distribution, wireless controller configuration, and access point placement.\nPerformance maintenance of wireless network to ensure correct operation with minimal interruption.\nImplement wireless network security measures and continuous optimization.\nResearch and recommend wireless network communications hardware and software.\nEstablishes and maintain wireless network communications hardware and software.\nEstablishes and maintain wireless network performance baselines and troubleshot network problems.\nSupport lead wireless engineer in design, documentation and delivery of wireless system, subsystems and end-user integration.\nAnalyzes and resolves program deficiencies.\nExecutes technical investigations of wireless network.\nConsolidates design efforts on major projects.\nQualifications:\nEducation\nA Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.\nAdvanced degree in related field or equivalent experience; or equivalent combination of training; certifications; work and/or military experience is highly desired.\nExperience\n4-6 years experience\nCertifications\nCCNA is required\n\nAdditional Information\nSilotech Group provides an extensive benefits package including:\nMatching 401(k)\nHealth, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance\nHealth Savings Account (HSA)/Flexible Spending Account (FSA)\nShort-Term and Long-Term Disability\nEducation Assistance\nPaid Holidays and Paid Time Off\nThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
