They will play a supporting role in achieving the organization's goals by automating the testing process. This position will directly involve working with SmartBear TestComplete, Jenkins, and Atlassian suite tools.\n\nCORE FUNCTIONS / JOB DUITES\nAbility to perform the following independently, under minimum supervision:\nWorks with Test and Development Team to support the development of Test Automation Framework in support of testing.\nCollaborate with government developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and identify test cases in an Agile environment.\nDevelop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for Hardware In The Loop (HWIL) system.\nIntegrates Test Management Tools to support testing.\nPerforms integration with Google Test to support Unit Testing.\nDevelops automation of applications via user interface, JavaScript, JScript, Python, Bash, Shell.\nDevelops automated tests for Unit Tests, Functional Tests, Integration Tests, Regression tests, System Tests.\nPerform regression testing and ensure that fixes are applied successfully.\nConfigures host applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS)\nDevelops internal test tools using Python and Bash.\nIdentify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.\nOperate debugging software and seek-out root cause of error in coding sequences.\nAnalyze test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to development teams.\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in testing and automation.\nContinuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes.\n\nSKILLS & ABILITIES\nBe familiar with the following tools:\nPreferred tools:\nSmartBear\nTestComplete\nJenkins\nAtlassian suite\n\nEDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS\nBS STEM Degree Required\nRelevant Software Development Certification Required, in lieu of BS STEM Degree\n\nTYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS\nGeneral office environment\nComputer/Equipment lab\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nMay be expected to lift up to 25 lbs\nFrequent use of keyboard and typing\nFrequent sitting and standing\n\nWORK SCHEDULE\n9/80\nThe ability to work non-standard work hours and schedules in support of project requirements.\n\nPAY RANGE\n$100,000.00 to $125,000.00 annually, DOE\n\nU.S. Citizenship is Required\n\nSECURITY CLEARANCE\nCandidates must have an active clearance OR the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance and will be subject to a US security background investigation (i.e. favorable background investigation / credit score). Additional eligibility requirements for access to various levels of classified information may also be required.
