{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"4ed1d8ccc53cd3bec2c4b4bc","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4ed1d8ccc53cd3bec2c4b4bc","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4ed1d8ccc53cd3bec2c4b4bc","title":"Material Handler/Forklift Operator (3rd Shift)","description":"*Position Title:* Material Handler - 3rd Shift (Sunday to Thursday 11pm to 7am)\n\n*Reports To: *Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse Manager\n\n*Primary Responsibilities:*\n\n* Proper adherence to and fulfillment of all tasks defined within, but not limited to GMP’s, Work Instructions, HACCP principles and/or CPG Policies critical to the effective fulfillment of the Product Safety Management System (PSMS).\n* To load and offload trucks, maintain the shipping area, and stage material going to the manufacturing area.\n* Responsible to report any Product Safety concerns to department manager, plant manager or Director of Quality Assurance.\n* Must exhibit knowledge and competency of PSMS and material movement and storage process requirements.\n* Line Clearance-Staging: remove prior job materials, confirm proper labeling for completed job and remove from line and work area prior to movement of confirmed change-over/next job materials.\n* Have raw stock at printing, laminating and slitting prior to the run set up.\n* Clear broken pallets from the manufacturing floor.\n* Clear full gaylords of scrap material from the manufacturing floor.\n* Organize WIP area including the curing room\n* Return any unused material to the warehouse for storage.\n* Pull finished goods from the staging area and into the warehouse.\n\nOther duties include:\n\n* Stage jobs in WIP area with rolls in run order.\n* Sweep out WIP areas.\n* QC notification of any returned goods\n* Put any return goods into the hold area until a disposition is given.\n* Check pallets coming into the warehouse for proper labeling and palletizing.\n* Supply manufacturing with any supplies needed to run their assigned job.\n* Remove un-needed materials from the manufacturing floor.\n* Check racks for any damaged pallets or product and re work them.\n* All product is to be covered, if a pallet is opened it must have a minimum of a slip sheet covering it.\n* No product is to be stored directly on the floor.\n* Stop any drivers or unwanted guests from coming into the building through the employee entrance.\n* Inspect forklifts at the start of each shift and document.
