This individual will be responsible for :\n\nOverall responsibility for crew safety, performance, productivity and work quality for assigned projects\nCollaborate with superintendent and project manager to coordinate project startup, execution and close out\nUse look‐ahead schedules, manpower forecasts and project specifications to provide optimum scheduling of material, manpower and crew mix\nSystematically direct and assign crew field activities to achieve maximize productivity while maintaining PCG standards of quality, performance and workplace safety\nCreate and maintain positive relationships with all trades, vendors, co‐workers and customers to maximize effectiveness and efficiency\nConvey a professional and positive attitude as the onsite representative of branch and corporation\nUse available technology to perform job tasks efficiently\nAbility to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner\nPerforms other related duties as assigned\nOn-the-job training offered\nThis position is safety-sensitive.\n\nHourly range: $30 - $34 an hour.\n\nBasic Requirements:\n\nMust have at least 5 years of experience in a Foreman/Supervisor role\nMust have a track record of successfully performing supervisory responsibilities\nMust have strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills\nProficient in reading cold formed metal framing shop drawings\nManaged a crew size of 20+ craftsmen.\nUnderstanding of wall framing limiting heights and UL assemblies\nProficient in quality control\nAble to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside\nPhysically able to perform assigned tasks\nMust be able to lift 40 pounds at a time\nPreferred Requirements:\n\nLocal to the Austin metro area\nBenefits\nAt Performance Contracting, our employees are our greatest asset.
