{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"4ec0543c77f269fe3a29baec","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4ec0543c77f269fe3a29baec","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4ec0543c77f269fe3a29baec","title":"Deburring Tech","description":"Second Shift: M-Thurs 3:15p-1:45a\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nRemoves burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from machined parts using hand tools, power tools, and deburring equipment in accordance with work instructions and quality standards.\nInspects parts visually and dimensionally to ensure surfaces meet drawing, blueprint, and customer specifications.\nReads and interprets blueprints, routers, work orders, and quality documentation to determine deburring requirements.\nUses measuring and inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part conformance.\nMaintains part integrity by ensuring deburring processes do not alter critical dimensions, tolerances, or surface finishes.\nFollows established safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.\nDocuments completed work as required, including production counts, inspection results, and nonconformances.\nCommunicates quality issues, damaged parts, or process concerns to supervisors, quality, or engineering personnel in a timely manner.\nMaintains a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.\nSupports production schedules by completing work efficiently while meeting quality and delivery requirements.\nPerforms basic preventive maintenance on tools and equipment and report maintenance needs as necessary.\nWorks collaboratively with machinists, inspectors, and supervisors to support continuous improvement efforts.\nOvertime may be required as business needs dictate.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nExperience & Education:\n0-1 years of relevant experience\nHigh school degree or equivalent\n\nExcellent attention to detail\nWorking knowledge of customer specifications and requirements\nBasic computer skills\nProblem solving abilities\nAbility to use calipers, micrometers, etc.\nMastery of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions)\nStrong teamwork and communication skills to get along with co-workers and be a team player\nUnderstand and obey safety requirements\nCommitment to keep work area clean and free of debris\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nSpecific vision abilities include close and distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus\nAbility to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, as well as reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time\nCapable of standing for long periods\nMust be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities: None.\n\nTravel Required: N/A\n\nNote: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) of this position.
