Acts as a senior technical authority with deep expertise in areas including computer vision, natural language processing, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics. Guides strategic direction, defines best practices, and influences cross-functional teams to ensure AI initiatives deliver maximum business impact.This role follows a hybrid work model. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to either the Irvine, CA or Plano, TX area.Needs:Minimum of five (5+) years of technical engineering experience, including proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; C# experience is preferred.At least two (2+) years of hands-on experience with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or other machine learning frameworks.Proven ability to apply large language models (LLMs), generative AI, or open‑source agent-based frameworks to real-world business solutions.Demonstrated success delivering at least one large-scale ML/AI application or service on a major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, data structures, and applied optimization techniques.Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow) for building scalable AI/ML deployments.Ability to translate experimental or research-driven AI concepts into practical, enterprise-ready solutions.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive organizational alignment.Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related discipline.Experience with transformers, edge AI, federated learning, or real-time inference systems.A track record of contributions to open-source AI initiatives, patents, or published research is highly valued.Duties:Designs, develops, and delivers AI-driven solutions that address both business line needs and enterprise-wide requirements.Serves as a recognized authority and internal expert in applied AI, shaping technical strategy and influencing the organization’s long-term direction.Leads large-scale, complex, and transformative initiatives that directly impact functional and enterprise priorities, operating with a high degree of autonomy and consultative guidance.Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to identify high‑value opportunities for AI adoption and defines solution strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.Oversees the full lifecycle of machine learning model development and production deployment, ensuring solutions align with business, product, and operational goals.Enhances model performance, scalability, and reliability to meet enterprise‑grade standards.Translates advanced AI research and experimental techniques into practical, value‑generating applications.Establishes and maintains robust pipelines for data preparation, model training, evaluation, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.Champions responsible and ethical AI by integrating fairness, transparency, and security principles into all solutions.Continuously monitors emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and best practices to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.Performs additional duties and special projects as assigned.
