This is an experienced-level position requiring extensive field wiring and electrical assembly experience on large industrial capital equipment. This opportunity is not intended for entry-level candidates.\nThe ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience wiring custom industrial machinery, OEM-built capital equipment, automation systems, or other large industrial equipment. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, the ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings, and the technical expertise to independently build, assemble, wire, troubleshoot, and test complex industrial machinery.\nThis is a physically demanding position that requires frequent climbing, kneeling, crawling, reaching, and working under large equipment to complete field wiring installations.\nEssential Responsibilities\nPerform complete electrical assembly and field wiring of large industrial machinery and capital equipment.\nRead, interpret, and accurately follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, engineering drawings, and bills of material.\nInstall, wire, and terminate motors, sensors, control panels, VFDs, relays, switches, PLC I/O devices, and other industrial electrical components.\nRoute, label, terminate, and secure wiring in accordance with engineering specifications and company standards.\nPerform point-to-point wiring, continuity checks, and electrical verification testing.\nVerify completed electrical assemblies meet engineering specifications before machine startup.\nTroubleshoot electrical assembly issues and support machine startup, testing, and commissioning activities.\nPerform final electrical inspections to verify completed machines meet engineering specifications and company quality standards prior to shipment.\nWork closely with Engineering, Controls Engineering, and Mechanical Assembly teams to resolve design, wiring, and assembly challenges.\nInterpret engineering documentation and independently complete complex machine builds with minimal supervision.\nIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement and recommend process enhancements that improve quality, efficiency, and safety.\nFollow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and safe work practices.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum three (3) years of experience performing electrical assembly and field wiring on custom industrial machinery, OEM-built capital equipment, automation systems, or other large industrial equipment.\nAssociate degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation Technology, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.\nDemonstrated experience wiring and assembling custom industrial machinery or OEM capital equipment in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and engineering documentation.\nThorough knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including AC/DC circuits, motors, sensors, relays, contactors, PLC I/O devices, VFDs, and industrial controls.\nProven troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting production schedules.\nPhysical Requirements\nThis position is physically demanding and requires candidates to regularly:\nWork on hands and knees while wiring beneath large industrial equipment.\nLay on the floor for extended periods to complete field wiring installations.\nClimb ladders and work at elevated heights on large machinery.\nBend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach overhead, and work in confined spaces.\nLift and carry up to 50 pounds.\nStand and walk throughout the workday.\nSafely operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.\nWear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety footwear.\nCandidates must be comfortable performing physically demanding work in a manufacturing environment and working in various positions to access wiring locations on large industrial machines.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience building custom industrial machinery or automated manufacturing equipment.\nExperience with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems.\nProficiency using electrical testing equipment, including multimeters, megohm meters, and continuity testers.\nKnowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), industrial electrical safety standards, and best practices.\nExperience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment.\nBenefits\nMedical Insurance\nDental Insurance\nVision Insurance\nCompany-paid Short-Term Disability (STD)\nCompany-paid Long-Term Disability (LTD)\nCompany-paid Life Insurance\n401(k) Retirement Savings Plan\nPaid Time Off (PTO)\nPaid Holidays\nWhy Join Timesavers LLC?\nFor more than 75 years, Timesavers LLC has been an industry leader in designing and manufacturing world-class industrial sanding and finishing equipment.
