This position adheres to and promotes the Company's mission while operating within the confines of the company's core values and contributing to the success of their functional team.Primary responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):Diagnose and provide quality vehicle repairs to specificationsAdvise store manager if additional work is neededAdequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, which may include customers and/or employees, on an as-needed basisContinuously learn new technical information and techniques in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technologyMaintain an orderly, organized, and neat bayDemonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, managers, and suppliersAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standardsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.QualificationsWe are looking for:Minimum of two ASE Certifications (Brakes & A/C) and Technical Degree a plus2+ years automotive repair and maintenance experienceMust be able to multi-task on the jobAbility to read and comprehend written instructions and informationValid driver's licenseAbility to operate and drive vehiclesAbility to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screenEffective communication and interpersonal skillsCustomer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environmentWillingness to work SaturdaysPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions:Exposure to inclement weatherProlonged periods of standing, stopping, and bendingExerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10-24 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than 10 pounds of force to move objectsRequires walking or standing to a significant degree.Additional InformationBenefits:Opportunity for Bonus & IncentivesPaid vacation / holidaysIRA - Company Match up to 3%Uniforms providedNo SundaysAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEOPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bendingAt time, exerting 50 - 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 - 25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly to move objectsRequires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materialsBy completing this application, you are agreeing that you are able to meet the physical requirements listed for this role.
