The Lead Installer will be expected to lead and direct installation crews (internal or subcontracted) on large and complex projects and engage in specific system testing by coordinating and reporting progress to Project Manager ensuring projects achieve time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction requirements.\nJob Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerform installation tasks as noted in job summary based on project scope and directives\nDemonstrate job site leadership, provide mentorship to all site Installers on site and verify quality of work\nRead and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints\nUse hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other installation system related tasks\nTest point to point cabling, functionality of systems, and code for control and DSP systems – field load as necessary\nTrack, manage and secure all associated equipment and tools on jobsite\nWork with office staff to initiate return material authorizations as needed\nSupport the Project Manager with site supervision of install team, communication of daily job site status, and completion of required job documentation as needed\nAct as customer liaison on site per project scope and directives – direct on-site change requests to Project Manager for confirmation and final direction\nCommunicate and coordinate with other trades on site\nPerform client training as needed\nTravel to various job sites required\n· Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets Key Code Media Driving Privileges standards\nMinimum of 6 - 8 years in audiovisual, electronics or related industry installation experience required\nEducation, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:\n· Must possess at least a high school diploma or GED equivalency\n· A formal education in electronics or a related field is preferred.\n· A strong experience in installing mounts and hardware for projectors, displays, cameras and others.\n· CTS or CTS-I is preferred.\n· Experience in leading team crew of 6-8 installers.\n· Fiber termination experience is preferred.\nPhysical and Mental Requirements:\nMust have the ability to sit, stand, stoop and bend for extended periods of time\nMust be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and help create, develop, and implement project process improvement(s).\nMust promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners.\nMust be able to act as the Company liaison for interface with customer representative(s).\nMust possess proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).
