From French's Classic Yellow Mustard, America's top-selling mustard, to its most recent innovations such as Franks Red Hot, the company has a history rich with delicious creations made from what today would be considered “clean, simple ingredients.” To learn more please visit us at www.frenchs.com.\n\nShift: D shift Wed 10pm-4am Thursday to Saturday 4pm-4am\n\nPosition Overview\nThrough the direction of the Team Manager, the Crew Leader ensures overall performance of the team to meet objectives for scorecard metrics and OGSM’s for cost, quality assurance, inventory control, HazMat shipping compliance and training (ground, air, ocean), safety, sanitation, service, sustainability, organizational health, GMPs, and distribution reliability.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nEnsures overall performance of the team to include quality, safety, reliability, waste and sanitation to achieve business goals.\n\nPro‑actively encourages continuous improvement and daily problem‑solving initiatives to increase operational effectiveness and efficiencies.\n\nCoaches, trains, and ensures compliance to plant established procedures (including work rule, safety and sanitation guidelines) while demonstrating a deep respect for the capabilities of all people.\n\nEnsures that all activities follow documented operating procedures and recommends updates to existing procedures as required.\n\nCoordinates & schedules crew vacation requests & overtime.\n\nDetermines needs and conducts training required for new & existing employees.\n\nEnsures product meets quality standards, coordinates problem solving directly with QA floor inspector.\n\nResolves minor mechanical and processing problems and makes necessary adjustments to keep line running.\n\nPerforms job tasks of other team members of jobs of equal or lower grades.\n\nFacilitates teamwork and coaching among team members.\n\nHolds meetings for production tracking, problem solving and team development.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n\nThree Years Of Manufacturing And/or Industrial Experience Required.\n\nDemonstrated ability to perform changeovers and preventative maintenance on all production equipment required.\n\nDemonstrated ability to diagnose mechanical problems and resolve minor mechanical and processing problems required.\n\nDemonstrated ability to understand financial impact of business decision affecting staffing, product components and inventory required.\n\nDemonstrated computer skills, including knowledge of Excel, Word, statistical database applications & LotusNotes required.\n\nDemonstrated ability to pro‑actively encourage continuous improvement and daily problem‑solving initiatives required.\n\nProven ability to coach, train and influence while demonstrating a deep respect for the capabilities of all people required.\n\nStrong Oral And Written Communication And Interpersonal Skills Required.\n\nDemonstrated analytical, critical thinking skills to determine risk assessment required.\n\nAbility to work overtime/weekends required.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nKnowledge of SAP, Infinity, Power Point, Access preferred.\n\nDemonstrated practice of leadership principles required and formal leadership training strongly preferred.\n\nDemonstrated competency to operate all equipment in the business strongly preferred.\n\nExperience effectively leading and facilitating team and cross‑functional meetings strongly preferred.\n\nFrench's is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
