The Program Manager is also responsible for maintaining appropriate targets and goals, updating the client’s programs on a weekly basis, meeting with parents to ensure treatment is effective, supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) assigned to their team, and ensuring the overall progress of the client.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nWork closely with the BCBAs and RBTs to provide intervention, conduct assessments, write progress reports and develop programs for assigned cases.\nMaintain data reliability and fidelity checks regularly. Plans and leads monthly progress updates for each family served with program team.\nAssists in creating and delivering specific intervention activities and provides parent education according to treatment plan or other individualized assessments.\nMonitors the skill acquisition of individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disorders.\nCompletes necessary documentation including evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports and exit summaries, and keeps updated with other programs, and participant-related documents and reports.\nProvides and coordinates on-going competency-based staff training. Attends staff meetings, in-services, treatment planning, and other meetings as requested.\nRemains current regarding new research, current trends and developments in Autism, ABA, special education and related fields.\nMaintains frequent, professional and courteous communications with participants and families. Communicates parental concerns and needs immediately to the case supervisor.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nMasters degree or higher from an accredited university in Psychology, Education/Special Education, Child Development, Social Work, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and related field preferred.\nBachelors degree in a related field and currently enrolled in a BCBA Program\nBCaBA with a Masters degree Preferred.\nBCaBa with a Bachelors degree\nTwo (2) years of professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).\nMotivated, professional, creative, positive, reliable, and caring individual with effective communication skills (oral and written), and the ability to provide feedback in a constructive manner.\nKnowledgeable of evidence-based practices and scientifically validated methodologies and approaches found to benefit children with ASD; familiar with current research findings.\nFamiliar with the approaches to intervention based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis. Competent in employing and directing behavior analytic methodologies including Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Behavior Skills Training (BST), Functional Communication Training (FCT), and Experimental Functional Analysis (EFA). Competent in employing and directing behavior analytic methodologies.\nStrong clinical, administrative, and leadership skills; customer service orientated and professional.\nAbility to consistently demonstrate good judgment, decision-making, and communication skills with a variety of individuals and groups.
