This position requires the candidate to maintain contacts with all of Hanwha Vision America’s salespersons, dealers, consultants, and end users within the region of responsibility. Main responsibility will be to work with each salesperson and support their opportunities in a technical capacity to secure the sales. This would include technical presentations, review of Hanwha system tools and device managers, training of technicians on best practices, review of specifications or RFPs, and providing cross-over BOMs of competitors’ bids.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPre-Sales Technical Support: Lead all pre-sales activities within the territory, focusing on Hanwha Vision America solutions. Collaborate with sales teams to support end-user opportunities from a technical perspective.\nSystem Design & Integration: Execute comprehensive system designs, including site surveys, equipment placement, area coverage calculations, bandwidth and storage calculations, BOM creation, schematic drawings, and third-party product integration.\nCustomer Engagement: Serve as the first-line technical resource for key accounts, demonstrating Hanwha Vision’s video products to integrators, consultants, engineers, and end users.\nTraining & Presentations: Conduct technology and customer-specific training sessions on Hanwha Vision America’s products and solutions. Provide sales presentations to key stakeholders.\nCross-Departmental Collaboration: Work seamlessly across multiple departments to meet performance goals and exceed customer expectations.\nTechnical Escalations: Assist with the escalation of technical issues and special customer requests. Provide feedback on product and system-related issues to the technical support team.\nIndustry Representation: Represent Hanwha Vision America at industry trade shows and events as needed.\nReporting: Provide weekly updates on sales activities, highlighting areas for improvement to enhance business opportunities.\nTravel Requirements: Regional and national travel up to 70% may be required, with occasional short-notice trips.\n\nQualifications:\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.\n4+ years of experience in a customer-facing pre-sales role, preferably within the network video or physical security markets.\nCertified Security Product Professional (e.g., Hanwha WAVE, Genetec, Milestone) is preferred.\nStrong technical acumen with the ability to articulate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nExperience with system design, product testing, and proof of concept development for complex systems.\n\nPhysical Demands:\n\nOccasionally required to lift 20-40 lbs.\nAbility to climb and stand on ladders or lifts for extended periods.\nComfort working at heights.\n\nHanwha Vision America provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment.
