As a Rig Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components for oil rigs, pipelines, and other industrial projects. Your work will be critical to ensuring the safety and efficiency of these structures. You will work closely with other members of the team to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentCompletion of a welding apprenticeship program or equivalent experienceCertification in welding from a recognized institutionExperience working with a variety of welding techniques and materialsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsPreferred QualificationsExperience working on oil rigs or other industrial projectsExperience with automated welding equipmentExperience with non-destructive testing techniquesExperience with welding inspection and quality controlResponsibilitiesPerforming welding and fabrication work on metal components for oil rigs, pipelines, and other industrial projectsReading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawingsMaintaining welding equipment and toolsEnsuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safetyCollaborating with other members of the team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budgetAs a Rig Welder, you will use your expertise in welding and fabrication to ensure the safety and efficiency of critical industrial structures.
