This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions tailored to meet business needs.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and Architect AWS Solutions: Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions using AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation, and more.\nCloud Migration: Oversee the migration of complex on-premises applications and data to AWS, utilizing best practices for re-platforming, re-architecting, and re-hosting (lift-and-shift).\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain AWS CloudFormation templates and Terraform scripts for automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.\nCost Optimization: Analyze cloud usage and costs using AWS Cost Explorer and Trusted Advisor, making recommendations for Reserved Instances, right-sizing, and other strategies to minimize expenses.\nSecurity and Compliance: Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM roles and policies, encryption using AWS KMS, VPC configurations, and multi-factor authentication, ensuring compliance with industry standards like SOC 2 and HIPAA.\nDevOps and CI/CD: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, and GitLab, facilitating smooth and automated deployment processes for development teams.\nDisaster Recovery and High Availability: Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans, utilizing AWS Backup, cross-region replication, multi-AZ RDS, and other AWS resilience features.\nContainerization: Work with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) to deploy and manage containerized applications, enabling high availability and scalability.\nTechnical Leadership: Provide mentorship and technical guidance to AWS engineers, ensuring knowledge transfer and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.\nCollaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and operations to understand business requirements and deliver cloud solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability needs.\nQualifications:\nExperience: 12+ years of experience in cloud architecture with a focus on AWS. Proven track record in designing and deploying AWS infrastructure for various industries.\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\nCertifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Certified Security – Specialty.\nTechnical Skills: Strong expertise in AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, scripting with Python, Bash, and PowerShell, as well as DevOps tools like Jenkins and Docker.\nSoft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
