The EPMS is the primary method of monitoring all electrical systems within a data center.\n\nKey Job Responsibilities\n\nTroubleshoot and perform root cause analysis or corrective action for BMS and EPMS related issues in AWS data centers.\n\nTrain and assist internal customers and stakeholders with the creation, design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning and operation of BMS and EPMS systems.\n\nProvide technical assistance and support to operations during the life cycle of the data center.\n\nReview results and action items from quarterly maintenances for BMS and EPMS and take actions to get them resolved.\n\nDevelop BMS & EPMS projects scope of work, schedule, budget, and level of effort (LOE) for projects requested by customers and stakeholders.\n\nManage scope, schedule, finance and execution of BMS and EPMS improvement projects in AWS data centers.\n\nAssist in procurement related activities including request for quotation/proposals, responding to request for information, reviewing vendor proposals and issuing purchase orders.\n\nParticipate in AWS global on‑call schedule to provide immediate BMS and EPMS technical support to in‑service data centers.\n\nAttend project‑related meetings, coordinate with project leaders, and regularly report status to Controls and stakeholder management.\n\nSupport Controls projects related commissioning activities in the data centers.\n\nReview, implement, troubleshoot and iterate on the controls sequence of operation (SOO) and provide necessary feedback to the design team.\n\nDevelop and modify controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces.\n\nManage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements and navigate challenging situations.\n\nFinancially manage BMS and EPMS service contracts.\n\nFrequently visit locally assigned in‑operation data centers to troubleshoot, meet customers, and supervise vendor work to ensure compliance with the scope, design, SOO and applicable local codes.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.\n\nExperience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production.\n\nExperience with MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.\n\nExperience with power management and power monitoring systems.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure.\n\nKnowledge of critical data center equipment.\n\nKnowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams and standard operating procedures.\n\nKnowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA.\n\nExperience in Data Center Engineering Operations, with a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical data center infrastructure.\n\nExperience reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings for all domains.\n\nSalary and Benefits\nThe base salary range for this position is 111,300.00 – 186,100.00 USD annually, located in USA, VA, Stafford.
