Part-Time Attorney – Real Estate Transactions

Are you an Indiana-licensed attorney with a background in real estate transactions? Near North Title Group is seeking a part-time attorney to support our growing business. This position is ideal for someone with a sole practice looking to supplement their income or an attorney seeking to reenter the workforce. Position Details: Location: Remote (primarily) Hours: 15-20 hours per week Schedule: Flexible, but must have some daytime availability Compensation: $30-35/hour Key Responsibilities: Conduct real estate conveyance searches (e.g., deeds, residential title transactions) Provide legal support to resolve title and escrow issues prior to closing Prepare legal documents including deeds, affidavits, indemnities, and land contracts Advise on underwriting risks and work with our team to mitigate them Communicate effectively with internal staff, customers, attorneys, and lenders Opportunity for growth into a full-time role focusing on underwriting real estate transactions if interested Requirements: Licensed to practice law in Indiana Exposure to real estate transactions required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure This is a fantastic opportunity for attorneys who enjoy flexibility and have experience in real estate transactions.
