Small neighborhood bar/ resturaunt. Role Description This full-time, on-site Kitchen Manager/Head Chef role is based in Dubuque, IA. The selected candidate will oversee all kitchen activities, including meal planning, food preparation, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Responsibilities include staff management, maintaining food quality, organizing inventory, and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency. The role also involves fostering creativity in menu development, meeting various dietary needs, and maintaining a high standard for customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proficiency in Food Preparation, Cooking, and Food & Beverage operationsStrong knowledge of Food Quality standards and practicesDemonstrated experience in Culinary Management and team leadershipExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage inventory, suppliers, and food cost controlsStrong communication and problem-solving capabilitiesKnowledge of health and safety regulations within food servicePrevious experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager is highly desirable
