This position works with the DBA Lead, MP DBA team, and ERP CS OEM teams to support the migration of ERP CS shared services OEM and coordinate the associated Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) requirements.\n\nJob Responsibilities/Duties:\n\nProvide database administration and operational support for the MilAUDIT and OEM environments.\nCollaborate with the DBA Lead and technical teams to assess migration requirements, dependencies, and infrastructure readiness.\nSupport migration planning, environment configuration, testing, cutover, and post-migration stabilization.\nAssist with OEM configuration and administration, including repository databases, management services, monitoring agents, and monitored targets.\nCoordinate OCI compute, storage, networking, connectivity, and access requirements with infrastructure and security teams.\nMonitor database health, availability, and performance; investigate issues and implement approved corrective actions.\nSupport database backup, recovery, patching, maintenance, and access management in accordance with established procedures.\nValidate database connectivity, monitoring, alerts, and integrations before and after migration.\nDocument configurations, migration procedures, troubleshooting steps, and operational handoff materials.\nParticipate in change management activities and coordinate issue resolution across database, application, and infrastructure teams.\n\nRequirements:\n\nMust be U.S. citizen\nMust hold an active CompTIA Security+ certification and maintain it throughout employment.\nExperience administering and supporting Oracle databases.\nExperience configuring, administering, or supporting Oracle Enterprise Manager.\nWorking knowledge of OCI and database or monitoring-platform migrations.\nUnderstanding of SQL, database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and database security.\nAbility to troubleshoot issues and collaborate across technical teams.\nStrong technical documentation and communication skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience supporting MilAUDIT or comparable enterprise application databases.\nExperience migrating Oracle workloads or OEM environments to OCI.\nFamiliarity with Linux administration and scripting.\nRelevant Oracle Database or OCI certifications.\n\nWork Environment\n\nOffice environment. Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing (100%). Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and client (100%). Occasional business travel may be required.
